This Cookie Policy explains how Hycentra LLC ("Hycentra," "we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.hycentra.com and our customer portal (together, the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site recognize your browser on later requests, for example to keep you signed in. "First-party" cookies are set by the site you are visiting (www.hycentra.com). "Third-party" cookies are set by another company's service that the site uses, such as an analytics provider. Similar technologies include small scripts and browser storage that work the same way, and this Policy covers them too.

How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for two purposes only:

  • Strictly necessary and functional: to run the Site and portal, keep you signed in, remember basic preferences such as language, protect forms from spam, and process payments securely.
  • Analytics and performance: to understand how visitors use the public website so we can improve it.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies to sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Strictly Necessary and Functional Cookies

These cookies are needed for the Site to work. Our website and portal run on the Odoo platform, which sets most of them.

  • session_id (Hycentra, first-party): keeps your session working as you move between pages, including your portal sign-in. Lasts about 7 days.
  • frontend_lang (Hycentra, first-party): remembers the language you are viewing the Site in. Lasts about 1 year.
  • tz (Hycentra, first-party): stores your browser's time zone so dates and times display correctly. Lasts for your browser session.
  • Google reCAPTCHA (Google, third-party, for example _GRECAPTCHA): helps protect our forms from spam and abuse. Lasts up to about 6 months.
  • Stripe (Stripe, third-party, for example __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid): set only on payment pages, to process your payment and help prevent fraud. They last from about 30 minutes up to about 1 year.

Analytics and Performance Cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors find and use the Site, such as which pages are viewed and where visitors come from. They do not tell us who you are by name.

  • Odoo website visitor tracking (Hycentra, first-party, for example visitor_uuid): records pages visited so we can see how the Site is used and connect a visit to an inquiry you choose to send us. Persistent.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google, third-party; our measurement ID is G-ZESDPME5JE): sets _ga, which distinguishes visitors, and _ga_ZESDPME5JE (specific to our property), which keeps track of your visit. Each lasts up to about 2 years.
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft, third-party): sets _clck, which identifies a returning browser (about 1 year), _clsk, which links page views into one session (about 1 day), and CLID, which identifies the first time Clarity saw the browser (about 1 year). Clarity may also set related cookies on Microsoft domains (for example MUID, ANONCHK, MR, and SM) to support its service. Clarity records how visitors interact with pages, such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, and masks text you type into forms.

The names and durations above are set by the providers and may change. Google and Microsoft each describe their own practices in their privacy statements.

Your Choices

Cookie choices. When you first visit the Site, a cookie bar lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only after you accept. We store your choice in a cookie so we do not ask again, and you can change it at any time by clearing your cookies for the Site. You can also control cookies in these ways:

  • Browser settings: most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies, including blocking only third-party cookies. Check your browser's help pages for instructions. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the portal sign-in and payment pages may not work.
  • Google Analytics: you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits.
  • Microsoft Clarity: blocking third-party cookies, or blocking scripts from clarity.ms with a privacy extension, prevents Clarity from collecting data.
  • Private browsing: cookies set in a private or incognito window are usually deleted when you close it.

Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the tools we use or for other reasons. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
